Not the best picture, but the subject is precious!  She likes to fall asleep with her doll now.  It’s so cute!!!  I was too tired to “go out” and get something so I just snapped this when I put Megan to bed.

Jonathan is being put on the spot today!  It’s been a while since I’ve done pictures of him.  Usually with the other two kids I can get some good pictures just around the house… With Jonathan he’s just so wound up that he has “too much personality”!  Also by the time he gets home and does homework and piano it’s too dark and I don’t like the pictures I take in our house at night.  So today I took him outside as the sun was setting.  We jumped the fence across the road and he ran around in a mucky field.  He had a blast!  He said, “Let’s play a game.  I’ll run and try and jump over that mud.”  I said, “That’s a good idea since it’s not mud, but cow poop!”

So a little about Jonathan right now.  He is doing really well in school.  We kind of plateaued on the reading.  He still reads everyday but it’s not as much as before Christmas.  Most nights it’s 30-45 minutes.  But he’s only in first grade so that is awesome!  He does well in math, but I think his teacher kind of got caught up in reading during the first half of the year and didn’t emphasize math as much.  But we are catching up with math and he learns pretty quickly.

He is taking piano from my mom still and he picks up on the new songs quickly each week.  He is reading the notes really well and his rhythm is great!  My mom says she doesn’t worry too much about that for a while, but he does just fine.

Sometimes I think to myself all the things that he does so well and expect him to act older, but I have to remind myself that he is only 6!  Most days he is a really good kid, but sometimes he can get pretty emotional.  That’s when I turn him over to Shane!

We love him and it’s good to have him in our family!

I’m posting a day late! But I was sooooooo tired that I just had to go to bed last night…

So yesterday Shane’s sister and her husband were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple! Hooray!!! Here are a few of the pictures. The first one is my favorite of the two of them.

A little more Sean! He was playing with his Angel’s hat, which he calls “owlz”. I think he gets confused since we go to the Orem Owlz games, and lots of people are wearing Angel’s apparel as well.

It’s been a lazy day… Sean and I played checkers while Megan took a nap this morning. After her nap I was in love with the light in her room so we did a photo shoot! I was playing around with textures while Megan took a 2nd nap… and I’m still in my pj’s!
