Genola Days!

June 28, 2008

I know, they couldn’t come up with a better name, but oh well ;)

Grandpa Smith was asked to be the Grand Marshall of the parade.  He was pretty pleased about it, and he did a great job!  He was telling everyone about it for the last month.

Here he is after the parade.

Sean enjoyed the parade, and even picked up a few pieces of candy.

Jonathan had a blast on all of the blow up water slides!  He did get a little sun-kissed on his cheeks :)   He was out there for at least four hours.

So I started the Genola Baseball pictures last night.  I was a bit nervous, but for the most part I think it turned out okay.  I have 9 more teams still to do!  But here is the most important one of all… the Bullfrogs :)

Day 174

June 22, 2008

Homemade funnel cakes…  Here are the boys eating on the back porch.

William came over for a sleepover after the game.  Today we made funnel cakes for dessert.  Wiliam’s mom will be calling for the recipe since he ate 6!!!

Day 166

Happy Birthday Wade! You’re old(er than me)!

A new look

June 9, 2008

So today Sean got his first buzz cut! The top was still cute, but the back needed a cut real bad so I decided to take the clippers to it. And since I’m not very good at the two different lengths, especially with wiggly kids, I just did the whole thing :)

Here is before… You might also notice that he is trying out a cup on his own!

And here is after…

Jonathan wanted to go to the zoo for his birthday. It’s a week late but we got up there anyway.

This picture was taken after the bird show. We have been to the zoo several times but have never seen the bird show, and it was really cool. The birds fly so low you can feel the wind as they go past and sometimes their feathers!

Sean was interested enough to keep his eyes on the bird, but not enough to try and reach out and touch it!

Come on, do something!

The White Crocodile was out in front today, but it still wasn’t doing much!

Animals at the zoo!

Zoofari Express!

I took all the kids on the train ride at the end of the day. There were a ton of people so the ride was swift! Usually it’s a lot slower and you can see the animals easier.

This one looks like a polaroid, don’t you think?

Day 154

June 2, 2008

Jonathan wanted to go for a walk today to Grandma Garner’s house… I don’t know why because he always complains that it is too long to walk as soon as we get to that first power pole you see!

As you can see I need some new subjects…I’ve taken to photographing the kids’ backside for variation!
