I know the Tipton’s through my nephew Landen. His wife is Laurie, and she said that it’s been about 13 years since they had family pictures done with the whole family! They are a great family and we braved the cold with little kiddos to get these done. We quickly did the whole group shot, and then bundled the kids into the suburban to keep them warm while we did individual families. Below are a few of my favorites, and the rest are in a slideshow here.
Here’s the whole family. What a crowd!

I just love their expressions!

Bryan got the babies for the “kids” picture. He was such a good sport!

This is the funniest thing ever! Landen (my nephew) holds Logan’s feet and balances him. He is stiff as a board! He’s probably been doing that since about 3 weeks old!

Friday afternoon I was able to meet a great little family from, most recently, St Louis. They were in town visiting family for Thanksgiving and the BYU game, or as Steve said the “Utah” game, but this is my blog and BYU won so it was the BYU game! They won a free session and we set it up for their visit this week. So without further adieu here are a few snippets from their session.

I thought this was a great moment!

I was driving around before we met and saw this field. I told them that I wanted to try some pictures there and they were happy to oblige! I think they turned out great!

Those were just a few of my favorites. Here is a short slideshow of the others.

Both Donna and I felt bad that Emma wasn’t feeling well because it was so cold! So she decided to come down to our house for a few more family shots. Of course we got a few others too, but here is my favorite family shot from today!

We had planned this for two weeks… so of course the weather didn’t cooperate!   But we went ahead anyway.  And I think it  turned out pretty well.  I had a lot of fun with the Coleman’s, and I can tell that they all care about each other.  What a great family!

I had a hard time deciding which photos to post here.  I tried to pick my favorites, but that might change tomorrow, since there were so many that I liked!  So I just picked one of each of them.  And you can always see the rest of my favorites here in a slideshow.  To see the entire shoot click here.

Ok I just couldn’t wait to post some more from this morning… and for those that thought it was us with Megan… sorry! This is Shane’s brother Devin, his wife Kim and their daughter Hallie. She just turned 1 on Wednesday. You might remember her from here. My how she’s grown!
So here is another shot of the family… They got Hallie to fold her arms to be good for the picture, how cute is that!

Megan's new dress

November 2, 2009

It’s so much fun to have a girl! I have all these things that I want to make! So here is a fall dress that I made for about $8. I bought the onesie so the total was about $12.

Halloween!

November 1, 2009

Halloween 2009
We were pretty laid back for Halloween this year. We didn’t even buy our candy until 3pm yesterday! Jonathan wanted to be a spider so that he could scare his teacher, who is afraid of spiders. He is such a tease! Sean wouldn’t even try on a costume. Last year I tried unsuccessfully for 2 minutes of him screaming to put one on him. This year I didn’t even bother. After asking him about it for 2 weeks, and his answer always being “NO” I just let it go.

As for trick-or-treating, the town does a trunk-or-treat at the park. But it’s WAY too much candy for the kids so I just walked them up the street. We went to 8 houses, 3 of which no one answered. We only had 2 families stop at our house… So we have plenty leftover!

Here are a few snapshots from our trick-or-treating.
