About photography
I have always had a creative side, and when I see something I like I try to figure out how I can make it myself. Like a lot of people I thought a “nice camera” would get good pictures. But after using my first dSLR for a while my pictures were not much better. So I started reading and studying everything I could find about photography. I asked a friend to teach me the basics because I am a hands-on learner. I started to understand how to use my camera, and how much more I needed to learn. At first I got a few good shots, but most of that was luck! That same friend encouraged me to do a project to help me develop my skills. So on Jan 1, 2008 I started taking pictures everyday. It was through that practice that I learned how to not only understand all the buttons and settings on the camera, but how to see a moment and capture it. From that project I have a few dozen photographs that are really good, and some that are not as great, but they are memories for me. If you look through my work then you will see that I can find those moments so that you can have them for a lifetime. I capture life–mine and yours!

Chocolate. Need I say more?!
I am happy when I am behind the camera.
