April 14, 2009Well this is a day late, but hopefully you’ll forgive me! I only have two pictures today, from our walk to Grandma’s house. The first one was actually taken by Jonathan and I thought he did a good job!

This one is a field by my parents house. Shane said it made it look like we live in the middle of nowhere. Hint: we do!

March 23, 2009These are from our afternoon at the park last Thursday. Sean really wanted to play on the playground at Jonathan’s school after Parent Teacher Conference, so instead we went home and made sandwiches and had lunch at the park.
So here is to swinging monkey boys… especially Jonathan!

March 16, 2009Sean got new shoes last week. The first time we tried to put them on he didn’t realize they were his so he refused to wear them. But now they are all he wears! He needed two pairs because now that we can adventure into the great outdoors he will be getting them quite dirty. So now he has one to get dirty and one that is clean if we need to go somewhere, like church!

And for Grandma and Grandpa Perry, here are a couple pictures of the kids.
Jonathan on his bike. He is way too big for this bike! We bought it when he was three, but he refuses to learn to ride without training wheels and we told him he can’t have a big bike until he learns. Plus he needs a new bike helmet because his head is so big!

Sean is just a cutie!

This is me being tired of winter! I wish we could just start spring and be done with it!

March 2, 2009I know I have been m.i.a. for most of February. But here’s what I’ve been up to! We have the boys room downstairs ready to paint. We have most of it primed, and got the paint on Saturday. Here are the two silliest boys on the planet! This was about two weeks ago. The only difference now is that it is white! Jonathan even helped out with priming; he had a LOT of fun! Since then the boys have both been sick with colds and ear infections.

In my “spare” time I have been frantically working on the baby quilt. I timed myself one day to see how long it took to stitch two rows together, and then stitch them to the quilt… 8 HOURS!!! I have 35 total rows. I wanted to have the quilt top finished by the end of February. I didn’t make it. I have 28 rows together, and the next two ready to put on. I think I’ll finish this week.

Needless to say, I haven’t really had much “spare” time to go out and take pictures. But I finally did this last week and this is what I got.

And finally the moon and Venus snuggled up together.

Have a great week!

January 26, 2009Most of these are from Saturday when we were in Salt Lake. It was raining and dark so I played around with the bokeh… a little too much! Oh, and they were all taken from inside the car.

And here are the boys enjoying a snack together! I have no idea what they were looking at out the window, but whatever!

January 19, 2009I know it’s late! It’s been a long day… but I did learn how to tape and mud!

This is my Grandpa’s mailbox. I’m pretty sure he made it all with scraps from… whatever, but that’s how he does things!

This is just funny Sean! He can’t hold down the other two fingers, so when you ask him how old he is he holds up his hand and crosses two fingers.
